Sometimes we don't really pay attention to whatever is inside a magazine as long as we are reading that particular article we intended to read. There are also times when we get so engrossed at the pictures we barely read the captions or even the article that talks about it. There are times when we treat a magazine like an album; we simply browse through the pages because we are more interested with the pictures rather than the articles.

If the human body is composed of a lot of parts, the same thing goes for the magazines. More often than not we don't notice these parts or these contents because something held our attention. But it wouldn't hurt if we get to know some of these parts or contents.

1. Table of contents. If the book has a table of contents so does the magazine. Although we may find the page numbering in a magazine rather confusing because of the full paged ads but still magazines do have page numbers and they do have a table of content;s a guide that will help you locate a particular topic by giving you the page number.

2. Full Paged or Dual Paged Ads. You can't think of one magazine that doesn't contain an advertisement. As you have noticed magazines are filled with ads be it full paged or dual paged. These ads are promotional tactics since a lot of people read magazines. Posting an ad on various magazines will help disseminate information to a wider public audience. You cannot also deny that these ads take up a lot of space in the magazine.

3. Staff. Magazines and books usually have a long list of their staff. There will always be one page in that magazine that contains the names of the writers, the editors, the name of the publisher and many more. This page will serve as an acknowledgement to those who have helped create that particular issue.

4. Pictures. Can you imagine a magazine without pictures? Yes, it is actually hard to picture out a magazine without a picture related to a particular article. These pictures add life to the pages; it also helps you get a better view especially when the magazine is talking about houses, gardens and even fashion.

5. Articles. Magazines may be filled with pictures and ads but it won't be complete without the articles. Magazine articles usually talk about almost anything. The topics usually depend on the type of magazine. If it is about parenting, the topics would be usually about disciplining your child, rearing a child or how to deal with your teenage kids. If the magazine is about fitness, the topics would usually be about diet and exercise. Though some of us don't read the magazine articles because we are more interested with the pictures, these articles do contain a lot of information and tips that can be very useful for us.
